Bdayblaze terms of service

Service rules for a Discord birthday bot built around scoped data and practical admin control.

These terms explain the responsibilities, limits, and acceptable use rules that apply when you install or use Bdayblaze in a Discord server. They are written for the actual bot surface: birthday records, celebration flows, private admin tooling, media validation, and lightweight hosted operation.

Last updated: March 26, 2026

Discord-first scope

Bdayblaze is a Discord-native celebration bot, not a guaranteed delivery service, archive, or enterprise platform.

Admin accountability

Server admins remain responsible for routing, permissions, exports, and the custom content they configure.

Custom content limits

Templates, wishes, links, and media stay the server's responsibility even when Bdayblaze validates or delivers them.

No uptime guarantee

Discord, hosting, storage, and external media sources can affect scheduling, previews, imports, exports, and delivery.

Acceptance of these terms

By installing Bdayblaze in a Discord server, using its commands, or submitting birthday data or other content through the bot, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you use Bdayblaze on behalf of a server, team, or community, you represent that you have authority to do so.

Service scope

Bdayblaze provides Discord-native birthday features such as birthday record storage, server-scoped visibility controls, Celebration Studio configuration, private setup and preview flows, timeline and quest state, compact surprise tracking, anniversary support, analytics, health checks, and import/export tooling.

Bdayblaze is offered as a lightweight bot service for normal server operations. It is not an enterprise workflow platform, backup service, legal archive, or paid SLA product.

Eligibility and lawful use

You may use Bdayblaze only in compliance with applicable law, Discord's terms and policies, and these terms. You may not use the bot to violate another person's rights, interfere with server safety, or bypass platform rules.

User responsibilities

  • Users are responsible for the accuracy of birthday details, timezone overrides, and visibility choices they submit.
  • Custom wishes, links, and other user-submitted content must be lawful and appropriate for the server using the bot.
  • Users must not misuse commands, scheduled flows, or previews to spam, harass, or disrupt other members.

Server admin responsibilities

  • Admins are responsible for choosing channels, permissions, routing, and other configuration used by the bot.
  • Admins are responsible for reviewing templates, media URLs, reward text, audit settings, and other custom configuration before use.
  • Admins are responsible for handling exported CSV files and other downloaded data as server data that may contain personal information.
  • Admins should use moderation judgment when enabling capsules, quests, surprises, anniversaries, or optional audit logging.

Acceptable use and prohibited misuse

  • Bdayblaze may not be used to spam, flood, or otherwise disrupt Discord servers, channels, members, or platform systems.
  • Abusive, hateful, threatening, sexually explicit, or otherwise unlawful use is prohibited.
  • You may not use the bot to impersonate others, misrepresent server actions, or distribute infringing or unauthorized material.
  • You may not probe, scrape, reverse engineer, or bypass technical restrictions on the bot, its hosting, or supporting infrastructure.
  • You may not exploit commands, validation flows, or exports in a way that creates instability, unauthorized access, or harm.

Media, message templates, and custom content

Bdayblaze supports admin-defined templates, wishes, reward text, and media URLs. The bot can perform practical media validation to distinguish likely direct media from webpages, unsupported files, or unsafe links, but that validation is limited.

Bdayblaze does not promise that every third-party asset will remain reachable, safe, or render correctly in Discord. It also does not guarantee that custom text, links, placeholders, or reward labels are accurate, appropriate, or non-infringing. The server using the bot remains responsible for the content it provides.

Third-party dependencies and availability

Bdayblaze depends on third-party services and infrastructure, including Discord, hosting providers, storage systems, and external media hosts. If those services change, rate limit requests, degrade, or go offline, Bdayblaze may be delayed, limited, or unavailable.

Availability, uptime, punctual delivery, and uninterrupted operation are not guaranteed. Scheduled announcements, previews, validations, imports, exports, and other features may fail, be delayed, or require operator intervention.

Privacy relationship

Use of Bdayblaze is also subject to the Privacy Policy, which explains what data the bot stores and how that data is used.

Intellectual property and branding

The Bdayblaze bot, website, branding, design assets, and related original materials remain the property of their respective owner unless stated otherwise.

These terms do not grant ownership of the bot itself or permission to use Bdayblaze branding in a way that implies endorsement, partnership, or official status without permission.

Disclaimer of warranties and limitation of liability

Bdayblaze is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, no warranty is made that the bot will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, fit for a particular purpose, or compatible with every server setup, media source, or Discord behavior.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bdayblaze and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, server disruption, moderation issues, missed celebrations, or business interruption arising from use of or inability to use the bot. If liability cannot be excluded entirely, it will be limited to the smallest amount permitted by applicable law.

Suspension, termination, and changes

Bdayblaze may limit, suspend, or terminate access to the bot, refuse support, disable features, or remove the bot from a server if use appears to violate these terms, Discord rules, applicable law, or the safety and stability of the service.

These terms may be updated from time to time to reflect product changes, operational realities, or legal and platform requirements. Continued use of Bdayblaze after updated terms are published means you accept the revised terms.
